Through its strong relationship with the government, the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines is able to support member companies by facilitating market access and working on the creation of a level playing field for both European and Filipino companies alike.
The ECCP's 24 sector committees convene to discuss cross-cutting and specific issues, listing key recommendations on actions needed to support market access for European businesses, and enable long-term economic welfare for the Philippines. Below are our advocacy wins in 2023.

“As the newly-elected chair of the Real Estate Committee of the ECCP, we are proud to partner with the ECCP under its first real estate arm. We view our membership through this joint advocacy as a valuable investment; in creating solutions and building a platform of idea exchange and best practices amid such an unprecedented global crisis. In the spirit of collaboration, we remain committed to bringing together key players, insights, and related data that will serve as a guide to making business decisions in real estate.“
“I would like to express my unwavering support to all the policies, trainings and advocacies that the ECCP is aiming to successfully achieve; the goal to continuously be a platform of ideas, ideals, and where like-minded individuals and organizations can meet, collaborate and grow. Through the non-stop trainings, seminars and meetings where we discuss, tackle and hopefully find solutions to the problems that we, as a global community, are facing no matter what industry or walk of life. I have no doubt that being part of this community is an asset that my company and I value.“
“Having served as ECCP President and Vice President for more than 4 years, I have witnessed the tremendous growth of the Chamber for the last several years, as it waded through a great deal of uncertainty especially at the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic. Nevertheless, it continued to provide excellent service for its members. It then comes as no surprise that ECCP is often dubbed as the Chamber of Choice.“
“Our clients look to us for expert advice on how to navigate complicated situations. We must foster a culture of curiosity within the company that allows us to look at multiple outcomes and help strategize for and with our clients. ECCP has helped us tremendously in supplementing our knowledge about critical industries and the disruptions happening within and around them. We trust ECCP to provide proactive content for the emerging ones that will shape the conversations of the future. I am positive that EON's synergy with ECCP will bring us closer to our shared goals and aspirations.“
“Our partnership has always been one of our dependable avenues when it comes to expanding our network and fostering new partnerships, especially as a key player in a highly competitive and dynamic space. In the several initiatives we have been a part of, we have had profound and valuable experiences that helped shape how we do our business in MPower. As the paradigm on the energy industry continues to shift, we put more value in our involvement in ECCP’s dedicated Energy Committee as they continue to lead meaningful dialogues and pursue endeavors relevant to the changing landscape we are in.“
“The ECCP has been instrumental in helping us cope with challenges during this pandemic, especially at the height of ECQ. Through its webinars, which were even offered for free to its members, it has provided us avenues to collaborate with each other, share our points of views and collective sentiments, and communicate and negotiate with relevant government stakeholders to find workable and mutually beneficial solutions for most of our pressing concerns. At a time when the world is suddenly hit by an unforeseen adversary, nothing beats collective efforts and the ECCP made this happen!“
