Through its strong relationship with the government, the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines is able to support member companies by facilitating market access and working on the creation of a level playing field for both European and Filipino companies alike.
The ECCP's 24 sector committees convene to discuss cross-cutting and specific issues, listing key recommendations on actions needed to support market access for European businesses, and enable long-term economic welfare for the Philippines. Below are our advocacy wins in 2023.

“This global pandemic has gravely affected the rhythm of daily business, but the ECCP never missed a step. It quickly adapted to the new normal, strengthening its networks with constant and open communication and bringing service to where it is needed. As the Chair of the ECCP North Luzon Business Council, we do our best in extending the same level of service from our office in Clark to ECCP members in North Luzon. Without a doubt, the ECCP continuously fulfills the promise of being the chamber of choice.“
“Bayer has been in the Philippines for over 60 years, and as one of the founding members of the ECCP, it has been a productive 45 years of shared growth for the company and the Philippines. Through the ECCP, we have been able to reach out to important public and private institutions, helping us live out our purpose of Science for a Better Life and bringing us closer towards the Bayer vision of Health for All, Hunger for None. To the ECCP and its members, let us celebrate 45 years of successful partnership and we look forward to seeing future decades of even greater success as we bring our companies and the Philippines to even greater heights.“
“Our membership with the ECCP has been a rewarding experience for our organization given their relevant and timely programs and conferences for its members. We have gained a lot from our attendance of the conferences and webinars, giving us a different perspective on the way business is being done here and overseas. Our involvement in the Agricultural Advocacy Committee of the ECCP has provided us with valuable insights on the challenges and opportunities in strengthening the commodity value chains in agricultural communities.“
“I was pleasantly surprised by the speed and effectiveness of the ECCP to adapt and turn the difficulties of the pandemic into an opportunity. The variety of subjects and quality of presenters that came to share their experience in multiple webinars were a source of valuable information and guidance; the subjects and speakers consistently exceeded my expectations that I made a point to attend as many webinars as my schedule allowed. ECCP’s wide reach and professional offerings makes it a valuable partner to any Filipino business in these challenging times we live in.“
“We are humbled and at the same time privileged to be an essential service during these times. Though the platform for networking, seminars, and meetings has changed, one thing that has continued is the ECCP’s community, of which we are proud to be a part. We are honored to be included in a collective of both international and national industry leaders who continue to learn from each other and work together to improve our economy, help boost the livelihood of our fellow countrymen, and create a more sustainable future for the Philippines.“
“It has been a productive, impactful and fun ride with ECCP the past 12 years. It was very challenging but productive to chair the ECCP Women in Business Committee. We made a mark by highlighting that women in business are more than ready to continue demanding more seats, space and voice at the table. The founding of Lobien Realty Group is my best personal example. The impact is noticeable by the growing number of participants in this Committee. ECCP and the WBC have become an avenue for women members to learn from each other, seek mentors and friends, network with other women business leaders.“
